Featuring a 35200-K thermocouple, the pack enables you to measure temperatures from -100 to 999 degrees Fahrenheit, or -73 to 537 degrees Celsius, an incredible range sure to satisfy your facility's ever evolving needs. Not only can it measure scalding temperatures of boiling liquids, but it can also read the temperature of products in your deep freezer. The thermocouple boasts incredible accuracy of + / - 0.5 degrees Fahrenheit (+ / - 0.3 degrees Celsius) when in ambient temperatures from 68 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit (20 to 30 degrees Celsius). Thanks to its screen with a clear 0.1 degree resolution, it ensures that even the newest member on your staff can confidently and accurately adhere to temperature monitoring standards set forth in your HACCP plan. Plus, it includes a toggle that allows the user to choose between either Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature readings, catering to the preferences and diversity of your staff. After 10 minutes of inactivity, the machine automatically shuts off, which helps to preserve battery life. This kit includes three popular K-type probes: the angled surface bell probe, insertion probe, and oven / freezer probe. The angled surface bell probe is made for use on flat surfaces, such as on griddles or platens. It features a 12" bright yellow cable that can extend to a length of 48". Perfect for measuring air temperature, the oven / freezer probe has a shield to protect the sensor from coming into contact with a hot oven wall, or any surface that could provide a false reading.
